Summary: A medical device packaging operator is a person who is responsible for the packaging of medical devices, such as implants, instruments, or diagnostic kits, in a sterile and compliant manner.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a combination of assembly and test kit operations.
- Inspect packaging materials and products to ensure they meet the specifications and quality standards.
- Set up, operate, and monitor packaging machines, such as sealers, labelers, or printers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the packaging machines or processes.
- Perform quality checks on the packaged products, such as weight, seal integrity, or labeling accuracy.
- Document and record the packaging operations, such as batch numbers, quantities, or defects.
- Follow the standard operating procedures, good manufacturing practices, and safety regulations for the packaging of medical devices.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in packaging, manufacturing, or medical device industry a plus.
- Ability to work in a clean room environment and wear protective clothing and equipment.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
- Basic math, computer, and communication skills.
